I was reading the Admission Guidebook for the Korean Language Program and wondering if the meals are included in the expenses of the dorm. Could you help me with that information? @@victoriayeyo Heya thank you for the support & for your kind words 💓 Yes, meals are included in the expenses of the dorm. But at PKNU we have a few options for meals, for example u can choose to have breakfast & dinner or all three meals for a week or only during weekdays. The meal options + type of room that you choose will determine the total amount of dormitory fee that you have to pay. For my case, I choose to take bfast + lunch for 7 days, bcuz sometimes I didn't really feel like eating dinner plus sometimes the dinner menu was not that fancy hence why. But anyway, it depends on you to choose 😊.

Thank you so much for this video✨️ Actually, I read some reviews on Google that said the Korean language course isn’t very good and doesn’t prepare you for real-life situations or daily conversations. They also mentioned that some staff in the international office are rude to foreigners. Are these reviews accurate? I'm planning to apply to this university under the GKS-U program next year, but reading these reviews is making me nervous.

@@Colorless2002 not so sure cuz most of us able to speak the language or at least making basic conversation to survive in korea. The staff in dormitory office can be rude but not all are like that. The rest of the staffs here are polite and kind. So far I enjoy my time in Pukyong, no regrets

for pknu dormitory we need to pay the fee on our own. So once you've received the allowance, don't forget to set aside the money to pay for the dormitory fee 😊

I'd like to apply through university track but i am worried since my gpa is 78% and the topik exams are happening at October at our country's korea embassy so it will be a little late. hi there, may i ask are you applying for graduate or undergrad program? if its graduate program i think you still have time to sit for the exam before the next intake next year feb. Korean language cert from other institute does help in your application, but if you have any topik/toefl/ielts certs with you, u may submit them together with your application next time. Also, 78% gpa is worth to give it a try. Best of luck! ✨

Waalaikumussalam. Unfortunately, there's no kitchen being provided at our dormitory. They only provide water dispenser + sink for washing dishes at the pantry. And the pantry are only available at every odd-numbered floors. But our dormitory's cafetaria provides halal foods for the muslim students. I hope this helps 🫶🏻✨

there's variety of menu being served everyday, so as a vegetarian you can just take the food that you're able to eat. They'll not provide a special vegan food for you, and nope, we are not allowed to cook at your dorm. If get caught you'll be expelled right away.

you can try search for one-room or goshiwon on naver if you're currently outside korea. If not, you can just go to nearby budongsan (real-estate office) for house hunting. The deposit can be varied, depending on your budget

⁠​⁠​⁠@@tashanazree2790hi, tbh I'll start my master program this September and I'm not well-versed regarding the program available for Fisheries/Marine Science major cuz I'm a Social Science student.But as far as I know most of the programs are either coursework/research. I enrolled to the program via scholarship program called GKS. And for my department there's no interview but some department do have interview session depending on the dept/lecturer. The document apostille part I'll share more about GKS in my next video but its our exam week atm so probably I'll do 'em after I finish my exam.

1. The fees depending on your room selection and your meal plan. Mine (double room + 2 meals/week) was 1.6 million per semester. 2. We can't exclude the meal plan, the dormitory fees come with it. So there's no choice, still gotta pay for it. 3. Yes, you can join the university's club activity. 4. I think so far the students here were okay, it depends on how you bring yourself actually. But the students are friendly and nice. But the dormitory staff (a few of them) were a bit rude. But not all are rude, some are nice and polite.

Hi, if you're planning to enter the degree/postgraduate program then it's a must for us to submit our TOPIK 2 certificate. But if you're planning to enroll for their language program, then there's no need to submit topik.

If your major will be taught in English then you might need to prepare TOEIC/IELTS etc. But if its going to be taught in Korean, then u might need TOPIK cert. @@Butterfly_subs_1111 last year it did, but only during certain days when the wheather gets really cold. Bcuz it rarely snow in Busan, but I prefer it to be that way. Bcuz l'm not a big fan of extreme weather tho. If you want to play snow you can go Yangsan or further up north.

you need to check the dorm fees on dormitory website cuz its not the same every semester. If you're okay to learn MBA in Korean then it should be fine.

They have halal food options for the muslim students. But the food can be tasty and sometimes not very much at times. You aren't allowed to cook in dormitory, so if u want to cook its better to stay outside. Which teacher are you referring to? So far our teachers who teach us Korean language are super kind and thoughtful. But the dormitory staff there's one staff that has an attitude. But not all are like that. Pukyong is suitable for degree or not? I think you're the only one can answer that. If it offers the program that you want and if the prospects suit you then go ahead.
