முதன் முதலாக தமிழ் சினிமாவில் நான் உணர்ந்த பெரிய மாற்றம் புலன் விசாரனை ஹானஸ்ட்ராஜ் காதபத்திரம் (வி.காந்த் படத்திலேயே எனக்கு பிடித்த படம் 2 மட்டும்தான்) திருவான்மியுர் சங்கர் வீட்டின் ஜீப் முலம் கதவை உடைத்து கொண்டு போய் சுவற்றை உடைத்து அதில் இருந்து விழம் பிணங்கள் மழை பேக்கிரவுண்ட் ராஜா மீயுசிக் அதற்க்கு பிறகு இப்படி ஒரு காட்சியை நான் எந்த படத்திலும் பார்த்தது இல்லை அந்த காலகட்டம் எல்லாம் நடிகருக்காகதான் மக்கள் கூட்டம் வரும் ஆனால் நான் எல்லாம் டைரக்டரை வைத்து தான் படத்தை மதிப்பிடுவேன் எனவே அப்போதே செல்வமணி சார் தான் என் ஹிரோ இந்த பேட்டியை முழுதும் பார்க்கும் போது செல்வமணி மண ரிதியாக எவ்வளவு சிரமம் பட்டு இருக்கிறார் என்பதை பார்க்கும் போது இன்னும் அவர் மீது மரியாதை கூடுகிறது அப்புறம் கேப்டன் பிரபாகரன் படம் 10 புலன் விசாரனைக்கு சமம் இதில் இருந்துதான் கேப்டன் கேப்ஷன் வந்தது செல்வமணி மட்டும் இல்லை என்றால் வி.காந்த் எல்லாம் ஆக்சன் ஹரோவாக இருந்து இருக்க மாட்டார் என்பதே உண்மை
