The mob attack has has been shown live on TV. Peaceful people were marching. Suddenly some lumpens came, reportedly they told the police why the emergency was closed and are being told as the local mob. 30-35 people just went inside the hospital and attacked, vandalised the entire hospital. Police and RAF together were 100-150 people, they just fled the area and hid inside the gynae department. They watched the entire thing without taking any action, and videos are available of that. Later when the mob went outside, police started going outside and both are stone pelting each other. Police threw tear gas and everything, and the entire incident is still telecasted on live media. Then some policemen got injured as well. Those miscreants just disappeared, and now police is arresting normal people who were either present in the hospital, or someone who came out for a candle march. TMC is blaming the entire thing on BJP and CPM. Vineet Goyel came on the scene, and is ranting about how the media and social media have spread misinformation against the police and how Kolkata Police is absolutely innocent. He said that it is untrue that police tried blocking evidence, we did not do anything and we are completely innocent. He also said that now CBI is enquiring, so let CBI bring evidence against me and my police, then you will blame us. The entire state machinery knows exactly what they are doing, and they know that it will be difficult, or maybe near to impossible for CBI to prove anything, because actually the state and the hospital entirely made the matter hush-hush, and cremated the victim's body without even consulting the victim's family. I stay at the victim's area, and the local TMC MLA Mr. Nirmal Ghosh is keeping a close eye on the victim's home, to see who are coming, who they are meeting- as if the victim's family did a crime and not the state and TMC bigshots. Our CM today blamed the opposition (BJP and CPM), and then celebrated 'Kanyashree diwas' by cutting cake and distributing biryanis to her party goons in the function. This is how TMC runs itself and this is how Mamata Banerjee is running our state since 2011. We are living in hell, a society where no voice is enough to describe what kind of a state West Bengal is made under Mamata's government. People who supports her outside the state, must read my comment and see what is happening since last 5-6 days. Please guys copy and spread this as much as possible!

It's a clear cut indication to destroy evidence. Why is the Hon'ble Police Commissioner losing his mind? They should be ashamed and apologetic that a person like Sanjoy Roy was employed as a civic volunteer. Also, now case has been transferred to CBI, so once all the evidence is destroyed, even CBI can't do anything, and the case will be shut stating lack of evidence. Let me tell you that during Durga Puja, central forces personnel were deployed outside every metro station in Kolkata and civic volunteers outside every pandal, why wasn't any preparation done to assist in peacefully carrying out this protest, when the CM is well aware that Kolkata Police lacks number in manpower. Ofcourse, a few police officers can't control a mob of 1000 people. That's why there was the requirement of central forces. These poeple in the mob, had stones, swords in their hands. Who sent them? Who sponsored them? Why did they attack only RG Kar and no other sites of protest? Mind you, when anti CAA and NRC protest was taking place peacefully in several pockets of Kolkata, they were being supported by CM and special provisions were being made for the safety and security of these protestors. Then why not last night in RG Kar? Reclaim the Night protest was organised well before midnight when it started, why didn't the CM take requisite and precautionary measures to make sure it was successfully executed? We will continue to ask questions on why just one person was arrested when it was a GANGRAPE?? Also, police officers are equipped with guns and it's a criminal offence to attack police or deter them from discharge of duty. Yet, no firing on the bloody mob who went inside and vandalised the building.

@Lallantop, पिछले 25 वर्षों से कोलकाता में रहते हुए, मैंने इसके बदलावों को नजदीक से देखा है। मैं पूरे विश्वास के साथ कह सकता हूँ कि टीएमसी सरकार ने पश्चिम बंगाल को पिछले किसी भी सरकार से अधिक नुकसान पहुंचाया है। टीएमसी सरकार ने सरकारी क्षेत्र में, खासकर पुलिस बल में, सीधी भर्ती को काफी हद तक कम कर दिया है। इसके बजाय, टीएमसी के कार्यकर्ताओं को वालंटियर ट्रैफिक पुलिस और पुलिसकर्मी के रूप में नियुक्त किया जा रहा है, जिससे पार्टी स्थानीय स्तर पर प्रशासन पर नियंत्रण कायम कर रही है। इसका मतलब है कि अगर कोई विशेष रूप से टीएमसी कार्यकर्ता किसी के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करता है या अपराध करता है, तो उसके खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराना मुश्किल हो सकता है, क्योंकि पुलिस थाने में बैठा व्यक्ति भी एक टीएमसी कार्यकर्ता हो सकता है जो वालंटियर पुलिस के रूप में काम कर रहा है। ये कॉन्ट्रैक्ट आधारित नौकरियाँ न केवल उनके परिवारों के वोट सुनिश्चित करती हैं, जो सरकार बदलने पर अपनी आजीविका खोने का डर रखते हैं, बल्कि यह पार्टी को अपना प्रभुत्व बनाए रखने में भी मदद करती हैं। इसी प्रकार का पैटर्न अन्य सरकारी कार्यालयों, जैसे आरटीओ और यहां तक कि स्कूलों में भी देखा जा रहा है। यह स्थिति विशेष रूप से चिंताजनक है, क्योंकि उच्च बेरोजगारी दर के चलते गांवों और अन्य जिलों के योग्य उम्मीदवारों को नजरअंदाज किया जा रहा है, और पार्टी के वफादारों को कॉन्ट्रैक्ट आधार पर नौकरियाँ दी जा रही हैं, जिससे वे अपनी नौकरी सुरक्षित रखने के लिए पार्टी के प्रति अपनी अटूट वफादारी दिखाने को मजबूर हैं।
