Just watched your video - great catch ! I'm going for the same trip in April. Any particular jigs brands, colors worked better than others ? Night time probably 180-250 grams

Pink and blue was probably the hottest color combo. Make sure you have up to 400g at least for the deeper stuff

Please advise; What type of rod do you recommend for either slow pitch rod with electric reel and standard deep drop rod with larger electric reel on the Yankee Captain? Thank you.

For slow pitch the Harrier is a great rod but comes with a price tag. We also fished a heavier weight Jygpro rod that fished very nice. For deep drop the rod must be a straight butt. They don’t allow bent butt rods. A lot of the guys like to fish a longer rod in the 7 foot range. I would recommend something in the 50 pound class
