@@MrSmartGuy21 oh ofc! I'm going by stats on MoC, Pure Fiction, and Apoc. (And here comes the nerdge yap... 😅) Firefly is T0 in both MoC and Apoc, but is T1 in PF. Rappa beats her by 2 tiers in that. Just that Firefly dominating with stats and how quickly she can 0cycle each game mode in comparison to others (except PF Rn). I mean, that's not to say others can't clear in 0cycles, cause they still can as long as everyone is built right. (Boothill, Feixiao, Rappa, and Firefly are all T0 in Apoc, Feixiao is T0 in MoC (so that makes her T0 in 2 modes). Firefly is also in top 2 best team builds for MoC Rn as well. Rank 1= App. rate: 31.79% with an Avg. cycles: 8.58. Rank 2=App. rate: 24.13% with an Avg. cycles: 7.92.) And it's so thrilling to clear MoC in 0cycles and it's the only reason I'm trying to get to E1 or get her LC cause she's consistent. Especially now that Fugue exists. SOZ FOR HOLY YAPPERONI 💀

Forgot to add that rank 1 MoC team is: Firefly, HMC, Ruan Mei, Gallagher. Rank 2: as above, remove Gallagher with Lingsha. Most likely cause Gallagher is more accessible but with Lingsha FF clears with fewer cycles on average. Again, soz for yap. I just like stats and funny ahh numbers 😭

Superbreak happens when you deal damage to already weakness broken enemy. It can only happen when you have active ultimate on harmony trailblazer or skill active on new character Fuge. It scales with break effect stat and all characters can deal damage this way. Even healers do incredible damage and Gallagher was designed for it, so he is very strong in such teams. Fire and physical have especially strong break naturally.

Just to add to this. Superbreak also triggers when you break the enemy. The idea is that any 'remaining' break damage that remains after you have reduced their toughness to 0 converts to superbreak damage.

I really loved the Sunday/Order reveal. There was information about the Order hidden in SU and item descriptions and the SU Aeon lore has alwasy been my favourite stuff in the game, so it was real nice to get it in the main story like that.

Firefly is a Break DPS, which means she greatly benefits from unites that boost Weakness Breaks, or Give the Party “Super Break”. The Only characters that give super break are Trailblazer Harmony, and Not Tingyun. Super Break’s entire Gimmick is that you do Break Damage to enemies that are Weakness broken, allowing Break Damage to be done multiple times to one enemy. HarMC is the best unit for this as they are free, and also gives everyone in the party like over 100+ free break effect.

Also the team they give in trial is definitely the best free to play Firefly team. But if you want to optimize her damage, you should replace Pela with Ruan Mei. Ruan Mei is the best break support (apart from characters that enable superbreak who are absolutely essential for break teams, there is no real break team without at least one superbreak enabler).

Fugue's trial is fine to do, there's no spoiler in it. When you get Firefly you may want to try for Fugue, in the case that you'll get her it'll be a major boost to firefly, but regardless Harmony MC and Gallagher are fine to use alongside firefly 👍

5:44 Break team is pretty easy to build. It's pretty much just your Break DPS, pick 2 out of HMC (Harmony Main Character)/Fugue/Ruan Mei and then your sustain who is either Gallagher or Lingsha.

Superbreak can be summed up as "double break" pretty effectively so you've basically caught on. It's built into Firefly's kit to some degree, but most of it comes from Harmony MC. All toughness damage that would be done to an already broken enemy is translated into superbreak damage. HMC users imprisonment from imaginary break and has some additional action delay for broken enemies built into their kit, because the DPS window on a superbreak team is only open when they are actually broken. Because of this tho the damage is very high without requiring as much investment as crit-based damage. One thing to keep in mind in the future is that team-side buffs (DMG%, crit) cannot affect break damage. The exception is break efficiency such as from Ruan Mei, since additional toughness damage translates directly into superbreak damage, or RES PEN which applies to all forms of damage. This means that you'll want debuffs that decrease enemy defense or apply vulnerability, which are calculated at the back end of the damage equation and apply to all incoming damage to enemies. Pela, HMC and Gallagher will be your best team for Firefly on your account as it currently stands.

you can go back and do the paths not chosen, to hunt for chests and puzzles and other rewards as well. there's even a whole puzzle built into the travel mechanism itself. our inner completionist really appreciated that.

I don't think even seeing her is a spoiler really, before this patch literally the only thing we got was a 'btw Tingyun still exists' with some veeeery minor context that didn't really explain anything aside from being a hook (narratively, not the Pitch Dark Great one herself :p). Mage is missing like, a single line that could be construed as a spoiler to have the full context anyone else did when she was announced as a playable character. Hardly the end of the world. Her gameplay absolutely is not at all a spoiler, for sure, though.

Superbreak is the buff the Trailblazer gives, Superbreak makes you deal more break damage to broken enemies, it lasts for 3 Trailblazer turns after he uses his Ultimate. You can see the three dots as Trailblazers passive talent. To tell you in advance. Firefly's team is the team in her trial but instead of Pela she wants Ruan Mei, they just don't use limited 5 star chracaters in trials (Sunday was an exception as He had Jing Yuan in team to show his compatibility with summons) without Ruan Mei all break teams lose a lot because with her you can break the enemy much faster and enemies stay broken for one extra turn and she has a 10% teamwide passive speed buff which is helpful for Firefly teams a lot. Firefly is a speedy character, during combat she wants 210 speed so she can have 4 turns during her ultimate form. Without Ruan Mei it becomes harder to reach that speed. She wants about 151 speed outside battle with Ruan Mei and without Ruan Mei she wants 160 speed outside battle. Without Ruan Mei you waste a lot of turn in your transformed form to break the enemy rather than actually dealing damage and without Ruan Mei enemy's get out of broken state much faster. So you can probably guess how important Ruan Mei is for break teams. As to how to build her. Firefly cares only about break effect, attack and speed so she is easier to build than lots of characters and damage bonus doesn't affect break damage so she wants an attack planar orb rather than a fire orb which is also easier to get. So she wants attack body, speed boots, attack orb and break effect rope. She doesn't want any crit stats. You will unlock her best relic set at the end of the Penacony story so it will still take a little while before you can get to that.

Firefly's team is very F2P friendly. With MC and Gallagher you have the basics. Ideally you'd want Ruan Mei on that team as well but you can manage with some other support or sub DPS that breaks toughness quick for now.

Add to that you might want to have Fugue since HMC is about to be getting a new Path and they might be needed for other teams, but due to HMC's existence (and since you can easily swap to them) you don't really need Fugue even if she's nice to have so less FOMO to actually pull for her. Fugue is really cool though, but she's not as strong for Firefly as she is for the other Break DPS like Boothill and Rappa... and Himeko. Fugue really is quite an upgrade to Himeko actually, Hoyo finally giving her some of the Jing Yuan treatment. She hasn't been this strong since Chapter 9 dropped.

Firefly deals Break Damage. Therefore, she will only deal damage when breaking the enemy. What Harmony Main Character does, is that he/she allows Super Break. In Super Break, you deal damage as if breaking the enemy. Therefore once the enemy is broken, Firefly can still dish out break damage bcoz of the super break effect. Moreover, please use at least 2 other Nihility units with acheron, preferably Black Swan and Kafka in your case. This activates Acheron's 'The Abyss' trace and gives her a damage boost. Ise Gallaghar for sustain.

So, as far as how we've been doing for Christmas, I got laundry money and a trophy that says I am a "Master Tabletop Games Teacher". That's basically all I could ever ask for. As far as pulls went, I've gotten Fugue after reaching full pity as expected. Then I went for her light cone and lost on the 75% chance... again. It's happened twice for me in a row on those light cones and I've been losing all of my 50/50 with my main character at least. I do have another free-to-play character though that has been winning every 50 for the most part though. It's all good though, I've been getting everything I want really.

Rip 50/50, I was just pulling firefly yesterday and I got lucky, I started with 25 pity and go bailu in the first ten pull, then firefly the one right after it. Then after 90 more pulls, the next firefly came after so now I have the e1! Worth it for best girl.

Super break is meta.It’s basically dmg that scales with break effect and No RNG like crit.So very easy to build.Super break only happens after breaking the enemies. (build firefly with break effect,atk% and speed) harmony mc is best to activate this effect at full potential Super break basically makes everyone a consistent strong dps as long the enemy is weakness broken For team.Galag,pela,hmc and firefly is already super strong.Ruan Mei is essential to break teams if u ever want to get.She makes breaking enemies easy and fast

Super Break is so stupid that you don't really need a DPS because the entire team turns into DPS units. That's why a sustainer like Lingsha can absolutely play the role of a DPS in a Break team, especially with Fugue on board. It's honestly dumb. Managed to do an MoC 12-2 back before Firefly was out without any DPS characters, just with Gallagher, HMC and Ruan Mei and nobody else. Took like 17 turns because the MoC just isn't balanced to be done with 3 units but it was a comfortable clear otherwise. Added Himeko and it was a 3-4 turn clear despite her being built for PF.

Firefly is very good for a f2p/casual playstyle due to her weakness implant. She's also great if invested on. E2 Firefly is bonkers and with Fugue's release she straight up one shots most enemies with double superbreak. I think sustainless will be the way to go for her from now on, but for a budget and comfy comp Firefly, hmc, fugue/ruan mei and gallagher is good enough for most content. Asta and pela are decent replacements for the limited supports.

Ok so i did some research :D cause i couldnt really explain it myself :D Super break is ''still'' relatively new ''form of damage'' that got introduced in 2.2 with Harmony MC and till this newest patch only trailblaizer could do this (now Fugue can do it too, people recommend to pull Fugue if you want to use other trailblaizer paths while still having a super break team) but i think there will be more units in the future who can also do this.. what it does is basically adding a consistent break dmg (you know how relics have break% stats?) that happen only when you break enemies by reducing their Toughness to 0 when they are broken the break effect do nothing anymore.. BUT super break is dealing extra dmg so long as enemies are in a broken state^^

To be fair, the only unit you need to get to build a Firefly team is Ruan Mei. Firefly Ruan Mei HMC Gallagher is a really, really good team (you could improve it in the future by getting, Lingsha instead of Gally and then some Ff eidelons (the best team being E2 FF, E1 RM, E1 Lingsha and Fugue for some stupid 100% ignore def and 2 turns/turn but that's overkill)) ... the Sunday trial will be a recurring joke x)
