I always pulled my short irons until I started pulling my right hip back and up in the backswing for all my clubs. Voila.....no more pulls. So, you are right on. Good job as always.

I found on impact my hands ahead and start lean was closing down the club face. I opened the face at address and voila I was hitting twice as many greens.

I only seem to have this issue with 7 iron up and can relate it to having hands low. I have noticed standing up more does help but wondering if another option would be to flatten the lie angle of those clubs? Or is it more a case in setting up incorrectly for all clubs and it just becomes more obvious the shorter the club?

Hi Nick, it could be the lie angle. Check your set up first. I'd also look at the path of your club in the downswing to ensure it's not coming down steep at all. Cheers

You can, but I prefer to fix the root cause of the problem.

@@Hittingitsolid really depends on how consistent it is, if it's really consistent then you're much better off just getting your club fitted better than changing your stance and how upright you are and all that, that's exactly what club fitting is for to tweak small misses and make them better, you can make a perfect swing and still hit a pull if your club isn't right for you, once you get a decent consistent miss you're better off getting th club fitted to your swing instead of fitting your swing to the club
