Hi Vince, I am in my first year. I actually used bee escapes on for 2 days then removed the supers. Worked like a charm. Is your honey this time of year very dark and kind of rich, strong molasses tasting?

No it's a gold color not too dark and it's really sweet I had a few people tell me it is better than last year's I know some people's honey is really dark how was yours?

It was great in July, yellow and flower tasting but fall honey was very dark and it has a tang and sweet taste.

I don't take any honey in the fall so whenever they make over the summer is what I get and it's like really sweet not sure what the fall honey is like
