My precious little girl was born 5 days ago. They say that babies in the womb can learn to recognize the sound of familiar voices. Well I'm sure she recognizes yours Becky, from all the night time routine of watching your videos with my phone on my belly! I love watching you and your family interactions. I wanted to share another tip for pomegranate seeds. Once you have sectioned off the pomegranate, fill a bowl with cool water to cover the fruit as you work with it. The arils pop right off and sink to the bottom where the membrane floats. This process keeps the wonderful juices from staining or spraying while processing and it cuts down on the time. Enjoy pomegranates anytime they are available. Juice them. Bake with them, top your ice cream/whip cream/salads/sandwiches or any other creative ways you can come up with. Pomegranate jelly or sauce I’d like to try.

Hi Becky, I’ve been enjoying your videos for a couple of weeks now. Today I watched you and your mom and dad harvesting your carrots and onions…sooo jealous of your garden. I have a couple of suggestions for how you might handle any excess produce you might have. Take it to a local nursing home, food bank, a women’s shelter or a kitchen the feeds the homeless. I worked at as a cook in a nursing home 45 years ago and local farmers and townspeople would bring us produce, bags of grain for cereal, eggs, and occasionally some organ meat from butchering a cow and lard from processing a hog. Always appreciated by everyone! Stay as sweet as you can and always remember to look after yourself.😊
