Pro Tip. At least it works for me. Is use your leaf blower. Why the snow is still dust that'll take a lot of the snow off and then you only have to worry about the little areas that it's stuck. That way you're not damaging the lens by running a broom or anything across it

I caught you at 11 minutes, a first for me. I realized that after years of living in such small places, when the roundhouse is done everyone will have privacy and breathing room. But you've always outdoor breathing room just not interior breathing room. A friend in Western New York. (I'm just far enough East of Buffalo to avoid the heaviest snows off Lake Erie and South enough to avoid Lake Ontario

Could you build an inner structure inside the metal ring that stays? Putting 1-2 inch wide wood slats running outward at a slight angle downward would assure the water shedding out and is the easiest way to clad a circle. Hope y’all feel better!

Another nice video. You can drill a small weeping hole in the round window metal frame. That's what they do for Aluminum framed sliding doors.

Yes, I believe the inner circle is planned to be a courtyard, so it will not have a roof I think. That’s why they have so many windows in the hallway, just as you said. 😊

The inner circle is definitely structural and will be the tallest wall in the building so the roof slopes outward. We have some ideas to break it up, though :)

We threaded a pvc pipe through a pool noodle with an elbow attached to a long adjustable pole to clean the snow off our panels. Works great with no chance of panel damage. You could write the needed length of the bags on the bottom of each run and stake out the lengths near the bag roll for easy measurements. A time will come when you are sitting in your easy chairs, with your feet up, looking over all that you have accomplished, with a smile of satisfaction on your faces.

It must be cold TRex has shrunk. Jon and family, make sure Ashley does rest till her energy comes back or she will slow her recovery. I have seen other people showing their snow scenes but they were further north, but I heard that it can snow around the Grand Canyon when I visited there in 2012. That trip to America was just great. I've just returned from holidays, visiting family and friends, and its sunny and freezing cold here in SW- France. Temperatures inside: showing breath-clouds and no liquid oil in their bottles 😏. I have some work to do with woodchopping and getting the inside cosy. My best wishes for 2025, keep it safe and healthy (or: 'getting healthy very soon'), up-up-up on the roundhouse ánd a lot of (side-)projects to realise! Of the results I'm sure: they will be great! 👍🥂❤
