The front axle is engaged by a sprague (overrun clutch) in the transfer case. When the rear wheels slip, the clutch is supposed to disengage allowing the front axle to grab. I noticed several instances of rear wheel slippage where the front axle did not seem to engage. Get on www.steelsoldiers.com and troubleshoot this. I also own an M813. Edit: At 1:02, you can observe the front axle grab. Later instances in the video, it does not seem to engage.

@@DieselDom Ah, gotcha. The axle engages but it doesn't have a locker so only one wheel grabs. I should have remembered that.

I see that you are using G172's,those are neat tires just like the G177's,you can do 64-65 MPH all day long.48-53/1400×20-1600×20's would be elite for off roading, even though you'd be at 52-55 MPH.Does your truck have a open front axle?

If I’m understanding your question right you’re wondering if I have a locker in the front, I do not think so

@@DieselDom Yes,I was wondering if you had Detroit lockers on the front axle. You'd have to do it yourself because these Military trucks all came with open front differentials.I have done it to my M813A1.
