Thanks and your videos are great by the way. Awesome sound, great images and love the big sunglasses when you're outside. When you're in big sky country, show that sky in those glasses! I'm sure non-truck drivers watch your channel. Have you done a video on why trucks have to downshift? That was surprising to be as a car driver (even when I drove a stick). Would love to hear more about the in's and outs of shifting in a big rig.

Hey guys, super helpful video! I hadn't even heard about white balance before this 😂 Quick question though, is there any way to do it without buying the cards off amazon? Can you use a piece of paper or something white from around the house? Sincerely, a broke student 😝

Thanks, Dylan and great question. Yes, you can use a piece of paper or white card from home but here are some notes. If possible avoid anything shiny to avoid getting a hot kick of light off the card. You just want good, plain matte white exposed. Also, best if you can use something rigid like cardboard so you get an even white exposure.

How would you go about correcting skintone for multiple people in the shot

Once you correct one person, you're good to go. But you may be asking about lighting multiple people because of variance in skin shades. That's a different story. But skin tone is the same which is why we only have one skin tone line.

Fair point, Jordan. Trust me, my lighting setup in my office might not be the greatest (in fact it isn't) but please don't let that diminish what my actual message is. This is the problem with KZbin, great channels and content creators such as yourself have low subscribers/views, while the shallow, click bait, bullshit channels dominate. So sad.
