question: if systemic BP is normal or not off the charts, then why exactly does the PH patient experience shortness of breath?? Normal systemic blood flow means the same blood flow also makes it through the lungs, no matter how 'squeezed' (40 vs 25 isn't exactly a huge difference and apparently it does NOT affect the lungs per PH wisdom). Ie. oxygenation should still be perfectly fine, but that doesn't square with being out of breath symptoms of PH. If you're going to respond, well symptoms only happen after the heart is damaged, then I ask again, where's the logic in that? If blood flow is normal, and you say lungs don't have any problem in PH except for blood vessels, where is the breathlessness coming from?

I swear when I look at this PH stuff I get such a convulsion of inappropriateness but I'll get to the bottom of this

Does an average heartrate variability of 8-15ms have an bearing on possible PH (no DX)?
