con escenas de "Liebe ist kälter als der Tod" (1969) "el amor es frio como la muerte" ... en realidad la cancion "I spy" trata sobre un paparazzi perturbado pero creo que queda bien con la pelicula...

Absolute perfection. The lyrics are simply another level. This is a true piece of musical art, with feeling, intention, sense, rythm, style, tension, wit. Pure genius. Pulp is a must for anyone remotely interested in music, independently the tastes.

By far best pulp song, strange but oddly fitting video. Pretty sure Jarvis doesn’t actually spy and kill, he spies and shags ;)

El amor es mas frío que la muerte, ópera prima de Rainer Werner Fassbinder, uno de los mejores cineastas de la historia del cine. Y Pulp, amo a Pulp!!

Class tune. I wouldn't like to have Mr Cocker as an enemy if this tune is anyway based on reality. Great performance in portrait of pure bitterness and jealousy, with a savage lust for revenge

This isn’t the official video of this song, is it? I couldn’t even watch it to the end. I’ve had the most incredible mental images in my mind for the past 20+ years when listening to this song and then this? It’s corny. This song deserves a redo.

The most arch and vitriolic lyrics of the 90's the spectres of Jacques Brel and Kurt Weill are hovering all over this with a sprinkling of Stephen Patrick Morrissey.

Why so few thumbs up. Grittier than any Bond film track at the time and until it's reincarnation. (bar Garbages effort, i liked them too till she went all blonde like the music.) Bit like Batman songs for me, i got the Smashing Pumpkins song, except that was an official track.

I am shocked to see this masterpiece of Pulp only has views less than 200k. But to be honest, Pulp is definitely not greater than Blur. However, if you are a teenager and cynical, you can totally ignore this comment.
@QuadMochaMatti Жыл бұрын
I am a cynical mid-centenarian who has adored and followed Pulp from the time between His 'n' Hers and A Different Class both originally dropped, and I was a student at Uni in the mid-'90s. I still listen to Pulp in 2023, whilst it's been a couple years at least since I revisited any of the several Blur Albums I still own on CD. It's been infinitely longer since I could last be bothered to put on anything by Oasis. 😛
@camildumitrescu37032 ай бұрын
Sorry, but there is no comparison. Compared to Pulp, Blur seems but some kind of archetype of the Blairite years, they do not surpass that. With all due consideration. I am born 1979, and I am Not british - should add:

@@camildumitrescu3703 You're actually right on this! I dunno why (and when :P) I left this silly comment back in the day since I loveee Blur and Pulp equally :) As I'm growing older, I'm starting to feel the difference of the philosophy behind the lyrics of their songs, and gradually realised it was the ethos and social atmosphere that shaped them, which, in fact, is unfair to compare between.
