She used straight up Lemon for the yellow. She used blush, a little smoke, and a little Cupid for the pink. She used Lemon, a drop of fireball, and a drop of blush for the tangerine. Happy the tutorial was helpful.

I am so disappointed with pulp riot. I have used it twice and my clients do not like it. They say that it does not last. Also who has time to blow dry the hair every single time in between after pre-lightning? Some clients have very thick hair! Call Freya you need to figure out a way to make the color last like for Valadez. I really wanted to be able to use it because I like the variety of colors. But I just literally washedMy time and money down the drain.

I just used it on my hair and after two washes its like...gone. I had almost platinum blonde hair and dyed it a deep pink. I just got out of the bath were only the tips got wet and the color IS COMPLETELY STRIPPED

i tried mercury and it toned my brassy level 6 hair and i had level 7 highlights its one pulp riot is one of the best color brands i ever used i hardly get no headaches im going for another bottle i also want to try the toners

I used the color blush and cupid, but it seemed to suck the pigment up right away before I could spread down the hair strands. The product would turn from pink to creamy white. It caused patchiness as a result (fortunately I have some left to fix the areas that were fully saturated, but had no pigment). Is this normal? It doesn't appear to happen on this video. What could cause that to happen? My hair was freshly lightened and still slightly damp (I know it's supposed to by dry) when I applied the color.

Jenni Lee it's most likely because the hair was wet you were applying it to. With hair being porous it holds water, if it's holding water it can't absorb the color evenly.

Victoria Irene, I think that's what it was. it was lathering. I just reapplied and it turned out beautiful. :)

You can dilute it with regular conditioner!

I have had luck using a white based conditioner and adding my Pulp Riot colors to it for a pastel/diluted look that my client requested. You may also use Olaplex #2 to gain the same result.

It’s direct dye

Because it's a non-oxidative color meaning it doesn't need a developer to process the color.
