I'm bullish on AI and its uses. I think my Christian sect will not be fond of this, but I find it quite interesting. If it frees up the pastor from doing 20 hours of sermon prep(ridiculous in my opinion) to 5 hours, then it would allow him to do the pastoral life on life work that he ought to focus on and may prefer. I use AI to answer questions in the voice of various theologians, and it(ChatGPT) does very well, including Dr. Michael Brown, RC Sproul, MacArthur, etc. It will exegete scripture in their style too, pretty capably. Having one that will not insert worldly ideologies or surreptitiously insert heterodox ideas could be a boon to the church, especially laypeople.

Sounds like it’s not meant to save time on sermon prep, but rather save time on social media work.

Yeah, I’m not quite sure how the program works, but the admin of their Instagram page is quite unkind. I had to ask them to run mark 14:51-52 through the program and see what was going on in that passage, and the person told me to lay off the drugs?
