I just want to advertise my personal terminal ineptitude with, and personal visceral hatred of, anything digital attached to a firearm. Towards the end of my stalking career, a close friend gave me the use of a new Pulsar thermal rifle scope, at the time about £4k worth I think. I smelled a rat when I realised the instructions were online, and it went downhill from there. I found it almost impossible to zero, and it basically turned my lovely custom barrelled, hand loaded .220 Swift into a fence post. It came off the rifle the next morning and was returned to the owner with instructions in clear and forthright language that he should take it away and never bring it near me again. Back on went the trusty Leupold, back to superlative accuracy and back to a thermal spotter and a rear mounted image intensifier. I regret my inability to figure out how to use the thing as I could see the benefits in the right hands. My hands were not the right ones. My fault entirely, but I know I'm not the only one and am now too old and retired anyway. Best of luck to all you digitally competent shooters, too complex for me and I needed to have confidence in my kit if I was shooting at something with a pulse.

Hey; what's your effective shooting range during night with the c50? Greetings from Austria.

Hi there. Thanks for watching and greetings from Australia. It really depends on the conditions. I would be comfortable shooting out to around 300m on open ground.
