Can you turn off the PIP so it goes away instantly after ranging your target.

In the ballistics menu option you can control if you want to keep the range value on the screen / off the screen / it's position. The PIP stays on for a few seconds. My work-around to speed up turning it off is to tap the quick menu.

@@thomasjacksltd How many seconds is a few, the 50 is10 long seconds in a hunt. So what you are saying is that the latest flagship scope has a workaround for a basic function, meaning it has the same FAULT as the 50.

@@paddymularkey Not at all - that's just me trying to be helpful. Be rest assured, Pulsar products go through extensive research, development and real user testing to create innovative products that perform to the highest level. And while they can't please everyone all of the time, they do listen to customer feedback.

@@thomasjacksltd I am a real user thanks, I asked a direct question, you did not answer it. Im quite sure you tested it. But from what you say it has the same fault with a workaround, not good on a flagship product. Again, when the PIP is turned off how long does the PIP stay on screen for before leaving a full screen with the hold over point still visible.

@@paddymularkey I make it 11.76 seconds. Pulsar have more real customers world-wide than every other producer of consumer thermal products. A fair few of them will have a view on how they would design the product for their particular needs but that wouldn't create the perfect solution for all. You've been heard and your comments have been noted.

For that price, you could get a way better thermal with Iray products. That display is way too grainy and the millikelvin of 40Mk is atrocious compared to the 18mk with the iray. The 12um is the only thing good about the xg60

Read this on what you actually get with NETD: pulsar-vision.co.uk/netd-vs-snetd-whats-the-difference/ When we field test products we like to show what they're capable of in real conditions, like 85% humidity at useful ranges (649yds, 241yds,104yds, 85yds, 67yds). Don't believe all the marketing claims you read from certain manufacturers. Just know that you get what you pay for.

@thomasjacksltd i don't claim it. I actually own one. Iray RH50 V2 It performs way better, like I said. The display quality on the xg60 is garbage compared to the RH50 V2. The sensor is way better than the xg60. You can do a quick search on the RH50 V2 and see for yourself it's much better quality for the money. Pulsar just needs to step up their thermal quality game. For the money, buy an Iray product.

@@thomasjacksltdall good and well, the new 60 lenses have F1.1, loosing out at least 20 % on Netd of the core, regardless the software
@thomasjacksltd
@thomasjacksltd 4 күн бұрын
@@kees356 The NETD of the 'core' is not effected. That's a fixed measure of the quality of the sensor. And I believe Pulsar are the only manufacturer that publish the sensor NETD. Many others only publish the 'system NETD' which is manipulated by processing. And cheaper devices use cheaper components that rely more heavily on processing. While heavy processing can give you extra animal detail (in high humidity and rain) it negatively impacts battery life, information about the surroundings and image latency.

3x to 4x base mag ... wow earth shattering and theres no optical zoom for the price 😂
@thomasjacksltd
@thomasjacksltd 5 күн бұрын
We'll take that - thanks, it is pretty special! If you're looking for a that kind of mag there aren't many options out there with a thermal sensor of this capability.
