Just watched this, i was weighing up a pair for my return to comp hoops hopefully soon here in Australia. Just copped the Super Mario's and ordered a pair after seeing Marcus Smart tear up the court in a pair. This vid just solidified what i had hoped to hear, again. Keep up the great work!

Those shoes absolutely tick every single box, the cushion sounds perhaps a touch disappointing but everything else sounds so fantastic it doesn’t matter. That Gym and those options are also super awesome, that’s a hoopers dream right there. Excellent video as always

I have a pair of Clyde Courts and really like them. Found the Clyde Hardwood today at the outlet for $40. It was a no brainer to grab them. I have wide feet and they're a little snug but I actually prefer them that way when on the court.

I just got a pair from the Puma site....30% off for Black Friday! These are the best basketball shoes that I've picked up this year. I played in them at my gym on Wednesday, and wore them off court today. They are comfortable on and off court. On court they are a solid performer. My advice, Get you some of these!

I'm a slightly wide footer. I would recommend going true to size. I think length and heel lockdown feel ideal, and for me it was still a snug fit that took a little break in time. Really nice materials and traction.

Thanks for the comment bro! I’m a slightly wide footer as well and was thinking if i should go a half size down for these. For reference what sizes/shoes you wear? I’m usually a 9.5 (protro, kobe 9, etc.) size 10 in jordan 31 and kobe nxt.

My true size is 10.5. I did a quick try on of the Kobe 4 Protro and 10.5 felt pretty good in those. Most Kyrie shoes or PG3 I would have to size up to 11 because of the narrowness / tight midfoot and toe width, but ultimately I wouldn't buy those two models because I find them uncomfortable. Under Armour fits my foot shape better. 10.5 in Under Armour Curry 3 or 6. I run in Saucony size 10.5. I think the Puma in 10.5 is comfortably snug and I have less than a thumbs width of room at toe (with regular athletic socks) I wouldn't recommend sizing down, but everyone's foot/preference is different.

Cushion is probably the second most important factor for me, after support, so kinda disappointed on the cushion set up, that being said can't wait for the update with the different insoles, if it helps even a little bit, will probably cop or might just cop casually but these seem like a beast of a performer

I’m thinking of picking up the Clyde hardwood next week (nude colorway) Is it really heavy on foot? (I held it in my hands and tbh it was really heavy. I’m coming from KD8s). But yeah how would it feel like on foot? I don’t feel comfortable trying it on in store because I’m buying it online with a different store I really like the style and the traction (based on their review) but again I’m not sure if I should go with it as I’m a slasher and i fear it’ll slow me down

I still have my Kobe 8 elites. Haven’t really played a lot in the last 2 years (helped last up to this point). Starting to play more again (usually outdoors)....stick with them or switch to these pumas? All I care about is performance and comfort. My Kobe’s are a little beat up too now.
