Hey Josh, Love the thorough reviews. Noticed a trend with synthetic upper mixed with leather from most companies for their leather range this year. Would you pick evospeed leather 1.2 model over evospeed leather 1.3 due to more leather in upper in last years model? Or is 1.3 leather model a better shoe all around in your opinion? Thanks

fernando trujillo I personally prefer the Cushioned ones, but it really depends on what kind of socks you like. If you prefer thin socks, go for the thin version, where as if you prefer more padded socks, go for the cushioned version.

Would these boots work well on soft ground? May sound like a stupid question I know, but the studs don't look much different to screw in studs in accordance to length. Only reason I ask is because I want to buy a leather pair in black, but I can't seem to find a SG pair.

Josh, what current boot from Nike, Puma, or Adidas is most like the CTR360 other than the Magista Opus? CTRs are my favorite boots, and I'm now trying to find a solid replacement for them.

DeaDPooLx97 Nothing really. If they didn't decide to change the name of the line from CTR360 to Magista, the Opus would most likely have been called the Maestri 4. If you liked the Maestri 3 and want something similar, the Opus is the way to go.

Niels Hamels These have a lot more leather and the leather is a little thicker in comparison to the Neo. I would personally pick these over the Neo if you're looking for more "true" leather feel.

Asyraf Akmal I don't really concern myself with which pros wear what. At the end of the day, the pros are under contract to wear certain shoes, especially big names. There's not not much of a choice happening, it's more about who's willing to pay the most money.

Hows the studs life on these is it better than the first evospeed? The reason I'm asking is because I bought the first evospeed and the studs wore out in 4 months of use.

Raul Cortes If you're only wearing them on firm ground, natural grass playing surfaces, you won't have any issues. That's the case with any FG studs made of plastic. If you walk on concrete or really hard surfaces, the plastic will wear down, and that's the only time you'll run into issues like that. That is not a common problem at all.

I think it would perform sort of the same but since the studs of the hypervenoms are thinner than the evopeeds meaning the performance of the studs digging into the ground is going to be sort of different

Cristian Campos The studs are a little longer in comparison to the Hypervenom, but in terms of actually traction, I would say that it is similar. The soleplate is also more flexible on the evoSPEEDs.
