Puma has a AG sole plate that they call MG, I have only been able to get them through Unisport at this point. As always great video, keep them coming!

I really like the MG soleplate concept. Good on all different qualities of AG pitches. I just wish it wasn't a generic design for all their models.

I use the Future with the MG soleplate, and even when it's raining it performs great on AG. I wish we could get that soleplate in something a bit more traditional with a tongue and leather.

Yeah, although the MG plate is reaaaaly short, so if there’s any adverse weather conditions they get a bit slick 😳 still better than the FG model though

You are right, the studs look too aggressive for ag, knee twists are a big problem. I liked the look of the zig zag pwr tape they have on ultimates. Amazing review as always.❤

I had to move to new balance despite love for Puma for this reason. We play a lot on AG and being over 40 I can’t risk the injury. I still rock my puma future netfits with conical studs

The laceless feature actually helped me it depends on how big the arch of your foot is and as a cam i really dont need god like lockdown i actually find it uncomfortable now the power tape is on the lace area just throwing tht out there but i still prefer using the ultimates

i got mine today, but i have the problem that the powertape on the top of my foot is way too tight. The first few minutes are okay but after a few minutes the spot where the powertape is starts to hurt. After like 20 minutes wearing them my feet get kinda numb. Havent played in them yet because i might send them back, but do you think the Powertape streches out after a few sessions?

Soleplate separation was a big issue with the previous model ad i had to glue them a couple of times. Doesnt look like they have changed anything about that.

Ye those studs for AG are not safe at all, But I really think that there just cutting cost not having too make an actual AG, but if a person dosent watch your reviews and just go of what puma is saying you can use them on AG and FG, people can definitely get injured using them AG.

They do have an AG plate, it's called MG. AG/FG is actually good because it means you don't void your warranty if you choose to use this on AG.

The Futures aren't particularly padded - if you're looking for a padded feeling I would try for something leather like a Copa Icon

I'm surprised to see you passionate about them marketing it as an FG/AG. In your other videos for other FG boots like the predators and others, you said they were suitable for AG, but in my experience all FG boots, apart from maybe the New balance Tekela, are unsuitable for AG. The studs are too long, have too much friction and pressure, and in the case of adidas, aren't conical.

I appreciate your thoughts! This all comes from actually testing all of these boots on AG, so unless you've also done that (awesome if you have by the way), I don't think it's fair for you to make any assumptions or comments about it 🤝

I actually bought the Predator FG full tongue influenced partly by your review, for use on AG surface, but immediately ran into issues I've never had before (Pain the ankle, too much friction when moving, a lot of force being fed back), and ended up selling them. If they work for you, that's great. I wish I could've kept mine.
