My Future Z Netfit's have a hard seam where the collar meets the "structured" part of the upper, and it rubs the ends of my ankles on the outside to the point of blistering. My solution was to put KT tape over my ankle bones for every match. These look like they still have the seam in the same position on the side at the bottom of the collar, so i'm sorta wondering if they fixed how hard and abrasive it is. Otherwise the Future boots are pretty comfortable and do conform to the shape of your foot eventually, and you could totally use them without laces.

The PWRtape reminds me of Umbros "A frame" technology which also reminds me of Nikes flywire. Basically it's another way to tie the upper around the laces for a super locked down feel

Puma, if you wanna make a crazy boot that everyone will love, put a Mizuno neo 3 outsole on the future. Man that classic outsole is amazing. Not sure why brands don’t just stick to that.

Damn the bladed studs killed it for me. If I wanted an aggressive outsole I would just get the Ultra. Wanted the Future for comfortability and more conical like studs.

I agree they was in a league of their own in comfort. I kno that has been compromised, had the Future Z 1.2 #supertechpack Future Z #lazertouchpack 1.3 but this could end his Puma Future Z Love for the boot. Like you said if he wanted blades he would of went with the Ultra 😐

These problems are not fixed by Puma yet, such as: heel, insole . To me, Future 1.2 is still better other generations. The best thing of Future is the feeling of locking down like a glove. Anyway, Puma needs to stop produce more generations and upgrade the technology for the heel and insole ( feel so hard)

I got the FUTURE too and I liked them because of their solepates as they had round studs and were forgiving specially if you rocked them on artificial grass. The studs on these look massive and for me it’s a red flag since now it technically isn’t a FG/AG boot and has shifted towards the FG specific category 🤷🏻‍♂️

Does the upper stretch in the toebox area? I had to go half a size down for the tf-soleplate variant, because the fit was a bit roomier than for the studded (fg, mg) soleplates for some reason. My toes are now slightly poking the tip of the boot, which creates some numbness, but not bad enough to keep me from playing. However, I would like them to break in a bit to lose the numbness sensation.

The AG aspect theyre talking about is the newer 5g pitches which are very similar to natural grass but most Ag pitches are 4g so id probably go for the multi ground outsole just to be safe

I normally wear a size 9 and they're about half an inch long. So I went down to a size 8.5 and length wise is great but just too tight all around, especially in the heel. I too had blisters and both feet.

It's mostly preference based but personally I use Puma Future Z 1.2's and I enjoy them in goal, really just use what you like and fits you well so you can move and distribute.
