Back in 2022 when things started to get back to normal I ventured up onto Pumlumon Fawr in the Cambrian Mountains. I also went in search of the source of the river Wye. Due to some technicalissues with sound and footage lost I didn't release the footage. I have now thugh put this up as a record of my trip. Atm I am unable to get out so filling up my time sorting out my back catalogue.

Thanks for taking us over this remote Cambrian Hill. I do love these open, remote and quiet hilltops outside the main National parks. Lots of opportunities for wild camping too by the looks of it when I get back on the Cambrian way .

Fantastic walk there , it’s on my to do list hopefully this year. Beautiful views over Nant Y Moch reservoir! It’s a cracking summit with a real 360. Thanks for showing us the source of the Wye too that was interesting. Best wishes

Nicely done Al, love the music, and editing. The Spilt screen was cool, might nick that idea! Next video, searching for the source of the Nile?

tidy hike that - making me very jealous! maybe the first in a series - The Wye, Usk, Tawe, Towy, Taff??? I can even see a TV series. Al and Bill's Secret Source 🙂 I tried to find the source of the Tawe once, but there were so many springs, etc on teh way up to Llyn y Fan I had no idea which one was the actual source!

Cracking video Al. Great to see the open vistas and wonderful to see you walking freely at will across this wonderful hill. The Gwy is Welsh for Wye so wondering if there are two sources perhaps that merge? I'm not looking at a map as I say that but just surmising on your comment as Bill went elsewhere.
