I have a question Let's take an apartment with 20 floors... Will there be only one tank at top of 20th floor for all the floors supplied from there or there will be one at 5th 10th, 15th floors in between so that they can supply from there

For a 20 storey apartment and all, only one roof tank (with calculated capacity) will be required to feed below floors through gravity line. As for to reduce the primary transfer pump load and losses, can use storage tank in any intermediate floor to collect water and again transfer to roof tank with secondary transfer pump.
