Electrical tape is a quick jerry rig also. Preflebly white

You can also use plastic bag as a temporary fix for pump lid oring just tear some off and wrap oring and lube

I've used black electrical tape in those scenarios

That definitely works too. I've done that as well and it games damp and doesn't really stay in place as well as the bag does. Have a great day!
