the cdr from shadowlands used to be a talent that reduced the infernal cd by 0.5 seconds for every soul shard you spend. If there was a big enough pull that lasted long enough you could get your infernal back up in 80 seconds if you were hard spamming rain of fire

Havoc doesn’t just duplicate damage, it duplicates shards gen. So if you cataclysm a big pack and havoc one thing, you’re getting double shard generation from each immolate tick

@@robinflowe1066 Definitely true and the real winner is the conflagrates. With havoc up they generate so many shards to help keep the fire flowing

​@@robinflowe1066I'm getting super low dps with destru, like 100-130k overall on +4 keys in S4, I have 97% mastery and 30% Haste 20% Crit. 493 Ilevel. I don't understand, other warlocks are making at least +50k damage overall. What am I doing wrong? I make sure to apply immolate, and do the normal rotation (nothing really special here), I have AOE talent spec. I'm obviously doing something wrong but have no idea what

Thank you! You did great actually in my eyes with that Itemlevel and no real XP on the Warlock. Havoc in larger packs is useless actually, you can save yourself the GCD cause you dont cast any impactfull ST spells anyway. Using it on stuff like the roots was a good choice, cause your immolate ticks generate soulshards. All in all solid run! I miss the WoD warlock where you could switch with a spell into AOE Chaosbolts, just a wall of CB flying towards the enemy xD Plus you had Multistrike back then so you could also just send another CB right afterwards. I thought you just use havoc whenever there is more than one target. Even if you're just spreading immolates or casting incinerates between rain of fires, you may as well have havoc applied to one of the targets.

demo is good but destro is super good for high keys

Unless you are running high level keys with a coordinated group, Demo is better but chaos is definitely viable

It’s a questline from legion or mop i can’t remember. But you can buy a book from the auction house that starts the questline
