Great tip for this 76 year old beginner surfer trying and struggling to foil in Hawaii. Mahalo!
@mikeb1039Ай бұрын
from this 65 y/o foiler I can vouch that it's "probably" your balance muscles in your legs and core and feet that are struggling the most. (JMO!!) It took me 2 solid seasons and it wasnt' the mind balance part, it was muscular strength holding me back. Was well into my 3 summer (just past) before I was finally strong enough to be able to ride on the E foil for 20 minutes straight. And of course that is a lot easier than pumping up to foiling on an unpowered board! It's a LOT more work than it looks and takes some outside effort to get strong enough. Blue Planet Surf (in Hawaii) sells a REALLY nice (and difficult) balance board. It helped me a LOT. FWIW!

Lequel me conseillerais tu ?
@dengordo Жыл бұрын
Good tips, well done! What stab do you use with that foil and would it be better to use bigger foil like 1950 for heavier rider (80+kg)? I've got X-1250 V2 which feels already big and slow for winging in super light wind but I've never tried dock start
@carlossaez3586 Жыл бұрын
I want to know about this too.

In this video i use a 1700 Xv2 with a C190, the new stab now i only use this stab it really change the foil, more speed, more control and more pop (so good for pumping) For you you can try with the 1250, normaly i use this one in small conditions.
@dengordo Жыл бұрын
@@noe.cantaloube wouldn't new Glide 190 work better for pumping than Carve stab?
@noe.cantaloube Жыл бұрын
No the carve pump better, the glide is more stable you can go a little bit faster, but the carv good for carving and pumping

@noe.cantaloube Жыл бұрын
@tatougiraglia93511 ай бұрын

Great Video! Are there maybe some new HA front foils ready for the Market bei Takoon? I saw that the S Glige is on Sale now, so can I expect some replacement soon for the S Glide? I would love to have a HA Front, around 9-10 HA and ca. 1500 cm2. Thanks!

@@noe.cantaloubelink? I'm looking for a new setup. I have a "Wakefoil" brand setup only 24" mast and really small wing. I use behind the boat but I can't drop the rope on the wave, not enough push. Can't pump it. What would you recommend?

Hi Noé, which Takoon stab is best for pump foiling (dockstart)? I have X-Glide V2 1700 with X300 stab. Thanks

Thanks, really good tips! You use the slim mast in 85- on the website its recommnded not for punping. however, it it looks fine- do you support to use it (82kg) for pumping ? Thanks
@noe.cantaloube Жыл бұрын
Yeah i use the slim but only for a foil smaller than a 1450, for 82kg it´s the limit.. i do only 70kg that´s why i can use :( For you i don´t recommanded with a big foil.. 1450 maximum !

@noe.cantaloube10 ай бұрын
