Thank you very much. 43:41 onwards is not explained well in many textbooks (or outright ignored) when describing the method behind system curve calculation. I guess most books assume the pipe is pressurised and in steady state when explaining static head. Great video.

QUESTION: when the tube or Pipe, is large enough to overcome capillary action; would the flow after the first peak simply drain through the bubble by gravity? Therefore allowing at least a minimum flow around the bubble?

1. Are syphon's are used in network system to increase the pressure? 2. Does these vacuum pressure values can be used in sewer network?
