I love your pumpkins. I made one using a larger needle and it turned out really cute. The stem was a little tricky for me, but I finally got it. They were really easy to make. Thanks for sharing.

❤️ Thank you for sharing your feedback)) I’m glad your pumpkins turned out great and you found it easy to make them 🎃 Crocheting a stem might be tricky 😔 I was using thin yarn and it probably made it harder to see the stitches. ❤️

HI! These are the best looking crochet pumpkins Ive seen so far! Any advice on making the peduncle bigger for larger pumpkins?

Hi 👋🏻 Thank you so much ☺️ ❤️ If you’d like to make the stem bigger and longer I’d suggest to increase it proportionally. For example, starting with the base of the stem I’d continue making increases in every round after the 2nd round until the needed size (in the video I stopped with increases in the 2nd round when I had 12 stitches). After those rounds I’d make the same number of petals (6 in my example) but I’d make them bigger depending on the size of a stem. The length of the stem can be modified as well with gradual decreases along the way. If you’d have a number of stitches you’d like to finish crocheting the base of the stem (in my example, 12 stitches) I’d be happy to help you with calculations for the rest of the stem 😉🎃❤️
