It is interesting in the part when Sephiroth tries to look at the books in the Shinra mansion and he get a headache. Sephiroth suppressed a lot of his more painful memories so when accounting for this, it most likely happened again during events in the future when he returns as a adult. Only on that time he most likely tried to force himself through the pain just to read all the information in the mansion. With constant headache, conflicting memories that were once suppressed, and the information from the books that may have also been altered a bit to remove information about Sephiroth's real mother. It is no surprise that moment lead to his own madness.

I assume it was also JENOVA messing with Sephiroth’s memories that also triggered the headaches, since whenever Cloud would get those headaches in the original game and “Remake” that was JENOVA triggering and “editing” Cloud’s memories to suit their purposes. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Sephiroth experienced something similar during the Nibelhiem incident.

Might also have been Jenova trying to influence him, or his mind repelling Jenova’s influence. I find it odd he was even looking at the books when they went in looking for costumes, Sephiroth is usually more focused on the mission than that.

Glenn is the father Sephiroth needs. Or the big brother Sephiroth never knew he wanted. Given how Glenn is the one who tries to tell Sephiroth to relax, slack off, and even just be a normal kid. Also, seems like Sephiroth was forced to endure a lot of pain at Hojo's hands when he was even younger. So this confirms that Sephiroth was abused as a child.

Wow...seeing Sephiroth going to Nibelheim, into Shinra mansion, into the basement, having a headache like Cloud and Hojo in his head, doing to him what he later does to cloud: torturing his mind.. And then realising this is happening in a mobile game, in a seasonal campaign... I really hope we get parts of his backstory in the actual 3rd and final FF7Re game.

Thanks for posting this! I was just under the power level threshold for the final boss, and wasn't able to boost up my main team in time. So at least I got to see the final scene this way! This was a cute event and I loved the costumes they gave everyone.
