Every day, I feel blessed. By my home, by this town, by my family. I don't see my family all that often but it's just knowing that they are right around the corner, so to speak. Two hours is not too long away. Spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with family. It's a joyful time. As for my house, it's still so much work to do on it. A little difficult squishing into three rooms of the house. But it won't be long before our living room will be livable. Very excited about that. 👏🏻👏🏻🤗

We don’t usually do pumpkin pie in Britain, but I managed to get hold of a can of pumpkin puree and I made this crumble today to eat after a traditional Sunday roast dinner. I served it warm with fresh cream and it was delicious 😘

I agree with you about not wanting to use big stand mixers. I had one years ago but found it took up so much space and I hated having to clean it. Then I downsized to a hand mixer but again I didn't enjoy using it because I have a very small kitchen and even storing that was a pain. I progressed backwards and only use a spatula and/or a whisk when I bake now. It feels so much more relaxing for me.
