Would be better if the Intellivision game scene were not so much limited run and then none. Most of these games release in batches of 50-100 cartridges, at $80 price point, where the average guy cannot afford them, and then the wealthy hoarders buy two or three copies each, and then there are none for sale ever after. Something has to change soon.

I've commented on this before. It's not the price so much that bothers me. It's the reason why it's high that irks me in that the limited quantity triggers the forces of supply and demand to command a higher price. Then, worse, some folk buy a bunch and then flip them on eBay for (much, much) more afterwards. This sucks for the average gamer that legitimately wants to buy such games for playing or collecting - who these games are really supposed to be for IMO, not for the "scalpers". Yes, I fully agree. Something should be done soon. The Intellivision scene is on a great path and this could hurt it. I actually did offer to buy the brand since Amico had troubles, and this was the first thing I wanted to correct. One solution would be to manufacture an FPGA Intellivision for better control. This should've been Intellivision's first hardware venture IMO before the Amico. But, I'm not the owner so whatever.

It definitely feels like that sometimes! I know at least in the case of Homebrew Inc, that the 50 preorders for the previous four games was just the start to get things funded. After they release they will be available individually from various sources, so there's still opportunity!

Thank you! I'm really happy with it. Especially for the colors it produces. Compared to this my old videos look pretty washed out. 🙂👍
