Curious why do you prefer the overhead wobbler to drip tape? I haven’t been too happy with my drip tape and was actually thinking of changing it up next year.

Personal preference, both work well. For me money and time to set drip tape up each year. With overhead I can see how much water is being applied. Drip tape always makes me wonder if its flowing evenly or pinched off or plugged up leaving parts of the patch dry. Plus I can cool plants off with overhead on hot days. And also drench my fungicides and insecticides through the wobblers. For me overhead is the only way.

I just hammed a 5 ft green tomato stake in ground and used three zip ties to attach pvc to it. That is more than enough support for the upright pipe that holds wobblers -Wobbler xcel. Regular angle not high. -Lavender head. -20psi regulator under each wobbler to ensure each head has an even spray. -1” poly pipe from tank to wobblers. -3/4” pvc up to wobbler. My pvc is 30”long, making wobbler about 38” off of ground. One is more than sufficient per plant. Sprays very evenly at least a 36x36 area. And if you needed more you can change from lavender insert to the others they offer. The inserts are only like $.50 each and wobblers were like $9 when i bought them. Wobblers run efficient of way less water pressure than other expensive sprinklers. Plus they are very reliable. I purchased mine fro irrigation king i think

My 4 all died due to a misapplication of Fungicides. (I still can’t believe I did that, but I did) My Daughter had 4 on this one plant, but I think due to the size of the plant it sent the energy to these two pumpkins and aborted the other 2 naturally while they were still younger smaller pumpkins.
