PUMUTOK si Tulfo at Bong Go sa PhilHealth 90B Excess Fund na hindi naitulong sa mga mahihirap

Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go raised this question as he led the Committee on Health and Demography inquiry on the utilization of PhilHealth funds for program benefits on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Go pointed out that the excess PhilHealth funds could’ve been used in expanding and strengthening current benefit packages that could help uplift the lives of Filipinos, such as dialysis benefits, mental health program, dental services.
“Hindi katanggap-tanggap na may pondong nandyan na hindi nagamit…Nagtitiyaga na po ang mga Pilipino sa hindi gaanong kalakihan na benepisyo kasi akala nila na wala na kayong pera. Kaya nga yung iba ay umaasa na lamang sa medical assistance,” the senator pointed out.
