Outcredible!!! The first time I heard Chris, he was a little kid sitting in a lawn chair in Silverton, Colorado looking up at the mountains and playing amazing riff after amazing riff. He had fine timing and a precocious feeling for blues. I was wishing I could have introduced him to Yank Rachell.

Your expertise with a mandolin is not dictated by how fast you can strum, how accurate you can finger your notes, or even how melodic your solos are.- It's weather you are Chris Thile or not!

You guys are so right. I saw them for the fourth time at The Newport folk festival, and Chris held the note for an amazing 23 seconds! I've tried several times and can't hold it half as long. And Pickles is one of the coolest people I've ever met, especially for a famous musician. Dierks Bentley is funny too. Noam is probably the best banjo player of the century.

Chris Thile's hold on "eat my breakfast here" is unbelievable. that lasts so much longer than any human being should be able to hold a note.

@Benwade90
@Benwade90 14 жыл бұрын
@pianomatteo tonal, but severely dissonant, albeit in the best possible way. i like most of my music with a good shot of dissonance, and thile delivers even better than usual in that solo. dear god, what i'd give to have an improvisatory ear for shit like that...
