(Shlok) 1. Namaste Garuda rundhe; kolāsura bhayiṅg karī. Sarva pāpa hare devī; Mahālakṣhmī namo'stute. Our (humble) salutations to that Devi, who ridest on the celestial eagle, Garuda. Thou art a terror unto the demon Kolasur; and the remover of all of our sins; obeisance unto thee O Mahalakshmi. 2. Sarvajña sarva varade; sarva duṣhṭa bhāyaṅga karī. Sarva dukha hare devī; Mahālakṣhmī namo'stute. O Devi, who knowest everything, (and is the) bestower of all boons. Thou art a terror to the wicked; and the remover of all sorrows; obeisance unto thee, O Mahalakshmi. 3. Sid'dhi bud'dhi prade devī; bhukti mukti pradāyinī. Mantra mūrti sadā devī; Mahālakṣhmī namo'stute. O Devi, thou art the giver of intelligence, success, worldly enjoyment, and liberation as well. Thou hast always the mystic symbols as thy form; obeisance unto thee, O Mahalakshmi. .
