Man it's so dumb but you made me realize you're right! I've never had the courage to try cosplaying because i thought i was never close enough to a character's physique, because i guess it meant something to me. But what you do and what you say totally changed how i think! i have some scrap EVA in my basement, i will try a basic costume for halloween and who knows, maybe for some cons later :D

Exactly what I'm doing. Im using it to make a wolverine build sort of inspired by he days of futures past movie and his classic costumes. This is a perfect base for that.

Good attitude on cosplay in general. I agree there the professionals and then just people to do it for fun. Personally I love seeing some cosplay that is done by newbies and people that have increased their skill level but dont aim for perfection either. Do it for FUN, it's just cosplay.

Nice work, or should I say "play" ! I like your idea , that it should be fun and not work . I make all sorts of stuff from foam, wood, stainless steel, brass, iron, plastic, recycled HDPE #2 too. I make knives, swords, hatchets, machetes, scabbards and sheaths for them. I am currently making a three knife set with sheath for the knives I saw in the cool movie "House of the Flying Daggers :. I am using real knives too. Its all fun and I don't sell any thing cause it becomes work then ! Thanks for this video. You are awesome dude !

Making stuff KINDA like the screen prop is way more fun. I do that on my channel too. Some people get enjoyment from recreating stuff to perfection based on a bunch of blurry screenshots, I personally get enjoyment from making cool stuff. No matter how screen accurate it is.
