The way Liv's voice provides temporary comfort and music to take a break, but at thesame time gives you despondency and sorrow as it reminds you the predicament the story is currently into. “~We'll sing instead of crying! Reading through the "Her Last Bow" story, The events of this Chapter became Even more important than it already was. Even if it was just a Tiny move, it would have drastically changed their future. It could be Earth entering another Ice Age or even A war between Humans and Machines.

If SKK woke up 1 days late, it's over. I did read the story and in Her Last Bow, SKK hear Liv's death news right after he woke up. The things happen might cause SKK to blame himself and to the point he lose motivation. Liv is a completely major character, without her, everything were nothing but sea of winter

It's actually insane how the deployment of the Empyrea frame is considered a "canon event" and that Commandant being the badass, managed to defy the expected route by actually saving Liv and not letting her die.

My god.. the church battle was brutal, and it was absolutely heart-rending watching everyone fight till frigging death. Imma admit it and say I was dripping tears during the final chapters. The side stories were sooooo good too! Loved em 👌

While I personally feel the last segments should have been added to the main chapter, it really hit the nail further down. And I feel ya man, we literally spent 75% of the story in a frigging coma lmao I had to looked up what it was that put "us" in that condition... yeah, Liv did an amazing job at saving us from our brain bleeding out.

I made you root for the human characters to survive, but as they lost hope and faith, they give up their will to live or decided to end themselves. For me it's both cn and jp, for CN version I think it was from the perspective of the narrator seeing what Liv is going through and the jp version is sang from Liv's perspective to give that personal feels

The larger issue I got with the Japanese version is that it's far too obviously unnatural sounding and clunky. Tho if a Japanese singer did a cover of this, that be fire. Another issue with the Japanese version is that Japanese words are much longer with more syllables, while Chinese individual words are only a syllable each. Therefore in the Japanese version here and there it feels like a whole bunch of syllables are jammed into a short sentence.
