Around 43℅ population of Punjab is Non-Sikh so anyone who is the chosen leader of a party which got the mandate can be it's leader so be it A Sikh or Non - Sikh But a systematic brainwashing of a section of a Sikh has made them dwell in radicalism & a vast majority remain in this self centered approach of only Punjab = Sikh.

Check the current infrastructure development made in fields of roads, number of AIIMS opened. Go to UP , Haryana,Gujarat. Check the surplus CAD of the country after a decade. Centre government is allocating money for various schemes but all ending in corruption at state level. check Smart city fund leak for Jalandhar. For expressways even after agreeing and getting exorbitant amount in their accounts people are not relinquishing the land parcels. Wish they used ED , CBI more stringently and put all these corrupt leaders behind bars

No Sikh chief Minister of any state is Sikh. Where is Sikh representation? Haryana and himachal are like Pakistan made up states. It is convenient to acquire a high moral ground, preach and act like a liberal while staying out of power. What about the silence on the farm laws, forget about their merits and demerits, their mere way of implementation was the biggest problem. Now, talking about farmer outreach and agricultural distress make little less sense. 50 years in politics is a sufficient time to bring agricultural change. If not throughout the state but a pilot project could have been taken up. So that other enterprising farmers could have followed.

Farm Laws withdrawn was worse decision of BJP.Protest in Punjab & Haryana was not related to farm laws. In Haryana protesting farmers only desire was to get Jat CM & in particularly Bhupinder Hooda. There was zero protest in ahirwal belt of Haryana.And Ahirwal belt is particularly agriculture dependent. If framers feeling distressed they can opt for other profession.Nobody is compelling them to do farming. This farmer agitation became a tool for extrtion for some people. Diljit & Rihana & Mia Khalifa extorted 140 crore rupees from Ambani under the veil of Farmer agitation.

India is a free country, nobody can be forced to support or follow anything, be it the farm protests. Also, there is no denial to the fact that every movement in India post-independence is either politically motivated or has served as a grooming ground for new leaderships. A farmer is wise enough to choose if he wants to continue with farming or not. We need not ridicule him by giving vague suggestions. It's a grave issue and calls for an immediate addressal. Desperate times require desperate measures. It's a 'global agrarian distress pandemic'. If every farmer goes by your kind advice, soon we will be facing another food crisis or be pushed back to the era of 60s. As they say, "hunger makes a thief of any man" (Pearl S. Buck). And I think I have better things to do than to worry about the poor Ambanis and their celebrity friends.

Let's not reduce it to the ABCs (AAP-BJP-Congress-SAD). These people should be held accountable. Mere raising an issue is not enough, something substantial has to be delivered. I am not a proponent of freebies. Take away all and offer better farming prospects. There is sufficient room to bridge the gaps, remove disparity, make agriculture more sustainable, eco-friendly, and of all farmer friendly. Sorry to disappoint you, all my ancestors have been from the current Indian side of Punjab and I am not a "west punjabi refugee". You have made it sound like being a refugee is being a terrorist... !!! P. S: I don't think this would have made any difference if I were a refugee.
