Phagwara my childhood city. You never forget a place where you start your life understanding. I did my first 4 classes in Primary school in compound of govt High school ( in between old grain mandi and Post office on other side). 1960 ch my father was transferred from this school to Batala. So after that never been to Phagwara. But still love it. There was a Halwai on road from mandi to GT Rd side who use to give a small piece of bread with Malai to school kids. then through mandi to school. My mother was a teacher in govt Girls school on Banga Rd. Then Krishna Temple with footsteps. Still proud and love Phagwara.

Oh My God ! Phagwara !!! I went to Ramgarhia College for my Bachelor degree ( 1969/70/71) Then left India 52 years ago, I remember Hadiabad, Bansa wala bazar, oh My , my , otherwise I could not recognize any place of Phagwara, maybe Civil Hospital on Banga Rd and municipal building right on GT Road ( near Stataion Rd) oh !! The Beautiful Memories . Maybe someday will try to revisit Phagwara again, God willing ! Dosanjha wala ! 🇨🇦

Par main Bazar ch, 6vi pathshahi ji de gurudware to agge ik sewing machine di dukan hundi si, jithe ik statue window ch khari hundi si. Roz hi school to ande jande dekhni. Patta nahi hun uthe ki hy. 65 saal ho gaye. 8/9 saal umar si jado Phagwara shadia. hun 73 saal te fir kadi ni gaye. Par aj vi dil ch Phagwara piyara lagda. Us time Rlwy Rd te SBOP di building sahmne sada ghar hunda si ( Thapra di kothi kol). Sahi gall Amritsar di koi reesh nahi, Karmo Deohri, GuruBazar, Katra Ahluwalia ja Akali markt, Papar bazar ja hor kuchhe. Kesar da Dhaba, Bhrawa da Dhaba, Amritsari Mashi, etc Oh mera original shahar hy. Khalsa college, Law College te GNDU to USA.
