Capcom must have felt pretty powerful when all they had to do was destroy one person's main and that was enough to leave him rudderless for the entire rest of the game's run. In complete fairness, though, that's how Bonchan felt from day 1 of SFV Sagat's existence.

@@HartKu Also Mena's Birdie because he stepped over the line. And Laura got a big fat nerf because grapplers were the biggest losers with the introduction of V-Shift. Of course, there's a conspicuous difference between Birdie/Laura/Karin/Nash getting nerfed and Akuma getting nerfed. There's really no disguising it when Capcom goes out of their way to nerf characters that are in no way shape or form top-tier picks.

Yeah gonna be honest, not a huge fan of the base cast, and the new additions don't seem all that cool. Like the two new girls are wack, especially that one with the magneto helmet ass hair lol. Menat, Ibuki, Karin, Necalli, Falke, Laura, G, Kolin, and plenty others from this game are way more interesting and unfortunately will probably not make it.

@Richard Davila Really? I thought with the introduction of the V-trigger, a character who gets a permanent boost from it was interesting. I didn't play him a ton, but I thought it was an interesting idea mechanic-wise. Character-wise, although they flopped his character, that was the writers, an ancient beast-man with a lot of power is a cool idea, just bad execution. SF6 we have a French model, another overly buff lady with weird hair (I'm sorry it just is really bad) , and an old Russian man who seems to be a villain. You know its a problem when the old Russian villain guy is the MOST interesting.
