Sorry I'm being a bit of a fucking fan boy here cause I'm spamming your comment section here asking you guys to come back to Scotland as well as asking questions on the comment that says you aren't answering questions so sorry and I don't expect you to answer this. But genuine question. My friends and I started a band not long before going into quarantine and I'm on lyrics and playing guitar. Only problem is I can't write guitar parts for shit so I have nothing to put the lyrics to. Any advice?

@@MrShedom8 that's the easier part. Lyrics can be literally anything. Some of my favourite songs have some lyrics that don't make any sense. What I did though is I wrote a few things based on plots of films and books and starting with a quote from them. That way I atleast had a starting point

@@lochlannturner4086 I just come up with the key I want it to be I'm and start playing notes in it until I get something I like for lead, and for the rythm just take a chord progression from that key that will sound good played under lead. You can look up chord or progressions if you want to give it a certain vibe too. Sorry, this is far from professional help, but it might be a good place to start.
