their guitar tones are such good contrasts for each other, Stefan's all fuzzy and Steve's brings the high end and mids. So much TOAN!!!

@@thedamnshame my understanding is that the rest of the band sort of hated Stefan's tone and wanted him to change it, but he didn't really care. Now he and Steve both play updated Dr. Z amps and their live tone is inSANE.
