I love ur rigup,i got 1 of these pup tents out a charity shop in Scotland for £2,they never had a clue what it was so just asked me for the £2 i was over the mo0n getting it for that price now seeing what you guys get up 2 with them i am like a kid with a new toy thank you.

Great mods to you "pup" tent, thanks for sharing. While they are heavy by today's ultralite standard, for a longer term camp I feel you just can not beat the canvas "pup". Been my go to choice since the late 80's when I first used it in the U.S.Army. Liked and Subbed, look forward to seeing more of your "kit" and your adventures. Cheers, Gorbag

I just bought a GI pup tent, I might buy another half shelter so I can modify it for fall/ winter use and keep the unmodified half for spring/ summer use. Thanks for the helpful modifying idea I'll definitely put it to use

Paul Carter cheers Paul. Allows the benefits of a baker tent but simpler to pitch due to not having vertical walls. Check out the other vid that shows the baker tent I made.

Once in winter i put a trangia coocker in my german army tent (which is basically the same tent) and it was like a sauna as long as it had benzin. Cannot imagine how it would be with a real oven ...

Thanks Mate, Yeah sure, I'll try and get a little vid done this weekend on how I went about it. The cans are available in a few sizes.. this one is about as small as I think you could get away with. Does the job :-)

+Teo Maragakis Hey Mate, I simple bug net screen with zip sewn into the opening. I lost the use of the press studs as the bugnet gets in the way, but I didn't use them anyway. I'll shoot a little review vid this weekend for you.
