god we're all mourning this weekend, aren't we QwQ Puppet to Ruin: "You're no better than Eclipse." I'd argue Ruin is way worse, actually. Eclipse only affected things within *our* dimension. Ruin destroyed 5000+ dimensions, he caused an actual shift in the balance where Eclipse was practically a grain of sand tossed into a lake. I loved Frank disabling Ruin's ability to speak, lmao

I feel like they will find _some way_ to bring Solar back. He is a fan favourite, and an important enough character that they kinda can’t _not_ bring him back in some way. Plus I feel like despite what he did to him, if they bring Solar back, he might not want them to kill Ruin. Whether or not they’ll actually listen to that is another matter though, Eclipse is itching to torture/kill him, and Moon is literally only keeping Ruin alive to extract info from him. As soon as he’s outlived his purpose, I doubt Moon will care _what_ happens to Ruin.

what confuses me: Bloodmoon was blown to nothing, not even dist at first but was brought back with a new body and memories uploaded from somewhere thanks to ruin. Eclipse, the same I guess. Can they or can they not make a new body and just upload memories existing from the show at the very least? because all of new moons memories were taken from the show as well.

Well, I've contemplated this particular subject as well, so I have my own thoughts. I think the difference is that Eclipse, Moon, Bloodmoon, and Lunar all were created, existed, and lived in this dimension, their base dimension. If we decide to go by a universe containing its own code, code that a Newton Star can only manipulate when in it's own dimension, we can come to the conclusion that perhaps a dimension has its own code unique to that dimension and keeps data of every character that belongs to that dimension. Eclipse, Moon, Bloodmoon, etc, can be revived because their data is saved somewhere within that dimension. Solar's dimension, along with his data, has collapsed, which would mean he does not have that data to be revived. And regarding using Eclipse's code to recreate Solar, I can imagine it would be difficult since, yes, they are both Eclipses in nature. But Solar's data made him Solar and, if rebuilt without his data, we may end up with a second Eclipse that is just as much as a snarky a-hole as the main one they have.

Im watching this right after i woke up, after crying all night. And im crying again because of this. Solar didnt deserve to die. He was a good person. And his last words are heartbreaking. Sun, moon, earth and lunars reaction is heartbreaking. Solar was my comfort character. He helped everyone out with issues, he helped fix the entire daycare from scratch. And he didnt even get a break from all his hard work. Im gonna miss him DEARLY. I hold hope in my heart that moon may find a way to bring solar back, i dont care if solar remembers anything, i just want him back. These few days have been the absoulte worst. At least hes resting peacefully right now. I hope Solar reunited with his diemensions Sun, and hes finally gotten his break, hiw rest from everything. I hope hes happy up in heaven, where he belongs. And although it wasnt the break we wanted fkr him, at least he got a break. I hope hes at peace. If it brings comfort... He died peacefully. He didnt die with pain... Maybe pain emotionally.. But at least he wasnt in pain physically. Rest in peace Solar, we'll all miss you, our kind, mecanical sunspot❤❤🕊🕊

Hm.. If everything of Solar was wiped… Shouldn’t Eclipse be gone as well? I thought it was established that Eclipse was first made by copying Solar’s code then adding a few things such as memories… sounds like a plot hole to me

They did bring up that they could do that to bring Solar back but don’t want to because it technically wouldn’t be Solar, just a clone So I think copies of code are different because when you copy and paste your not taking the original code, you’re making a *copy* making something that is identical but not the same as the original, so it doesn’t count as being from that dimension

It kinda shows how well liked Solar was and that he kinda had an impact on a lot people, just makes it so much sadder. Puppet having hope of bringing him back is nice to hear though, them relating to Solar is understandable considering they both came from different dimensions. However, what Eclipse said about the possiblites of bringing Solar back, especially that last one where he shrugged it off as dumb has me intrigued.
