Thanks for the beautiful video. I did an almost identical loop (with probably a bit more trial and error than you seem to have had finding my way over to that wall coming down Puppet Pass!) in late August of 2023 after the huge 2022-23 winter snowfall. Most of it was melted out by the time I got up there except for a twenty-foot-thick snowpack piled up at the Piute Lake headwall. The stream crossings were a bit of an ordeal, including more than a few for temporary streams that don't show up on maps. Still, worth the wet feet for those views!

Great trip! it looks like it's the Sat. of the Labor day weekend when you departed Desolation lake. I arrived at Desolation lake at 10 AM that day.
