One of this game's problems is that Jack has to learn a lesson that he had already learned from the movie, that his friends and family are more important than new discoveries. Granted he had no reason to believe that Oogie would return. Also, Lock, Shock, and Barrel stitching Oogie back up seems like a cop out. Why would they want him back? Their loyalty to him appears to be based off of fear more than anything else.
