I'm not sure bout the figures but I think the prize pool now is low compared to the previous TIs (excluding TI 1) and don't they like take a few percentage off the funds the get from the Battle pass for their tournament set up and overall prize

They distribute the entire prize pool to other tournaments. Look at the prize pools of tournaments like Dream League and Riyadh; they are significantly high for major tournaments.
