It’s great, that you let the family pick out who they loved! Or rather the puppy picked them out! Lol my breeder handed me the pup SHE wanted for me. Needless, to say now she has resource guarding and has a not so good temperament. We love her and she’s part of the family, but even down to her color is not what I preferred. I did stress to her the color and temperament I preferred, but it fell on deaf ears. Loved the video, till next time! 😊

I actually have a question…an important one I think! Have you ever had a family come in to look at one of your fur babies and you see that they are NOT a good fit? I ask because I encountered that with one of my litters back in the day! I had a beautiful sweet loving litter! The fur babies were engaging and sweet with everyone…all ages. One lovely family came in and I my lil babies showed a side of never seen in any pup before or after! The stayed together as a pack and they were unfriendly and tried to stay away from the family! They actually showed their teeth in a protective manor…at 7 weeks! I was so surprised! There was absolutely NO way I was going to allow my babies to go to this particular family! I didn’t see anything in particular as I watched this family of 5, but I also know how often families in public and at home can be very different! I wondered if my pup would would encounter some realm of aggression! I had rescued a 6 month old who had been abused! When I came to the door, the woman opened the door and this lil dog bound into my arms…I hadn’t even seen her yet! She cuddled into my neck and stayed there! I absolutely took her home! It took a year of working with her for her to trust men! But exactly how she responded to men, my lil babies responded to this family of 5. So sad! She wondering if you’ve ever encountered anything like this!

i have never had any of my pups show aggression.. no! but i have told one family before that i didnt think my puppies were right for them... i just didnt get a good feeling with them. as a breeder, you have to go with your gut. you want the pup and the family to be happy. otherwise, there WILL be issues. either the pup will come back or the pup will end up being rehomed without you knowing and could end up in a shelter. moving home to home can cause issues too, even if its a good dog. anxiety, being one!

this allows up to Label each puppy since they are newborns (when they are that young, some look identical) this can let us weigh each puppy daily, and do their chart paperwork and keep them labeled 😊
