@@joshmorrison2989 She is not telling them what to do, she is informing of a better way. Adopting shelter dogs does ATLEAST 2 good things. It gives an animal in need a home and it discourages puppy mills by depriving them of the money they get from selling the dogs. Puppy mills are ultimate evil and are the reason most reputable pet stores will no longer sell puppies. And you are correct we do not know that the dogs in the video were not shelter dogs.

Actually, dog can smell emotions. Pheromones, hormones, what not. When people cry of different emotions, their tears crystallize differently, and dogs can smell that difference. So they won't be confused.

A long time ago I went to a shelter and saw a small dog with a big scratch on his back. Nobody wanted it, so I bought it. my boys loved it and healed the back to health. It was incredibly loyal and full of energy. I watch these videos to remind me of the day it was introduce to our family. Rest in peace

I never thought that I was a dog person until two months ago. I was asked to baby sit a Yorkiepoo two months ago while the family went on a vacation. The thought of giving the dog back was giving both me and my such anxiety ..... we wound up getting to keep the dog because her dog parents work full time and are also in school so they gifted us Their dog ...... I Can’t imagine ever living with out Princess . I Live with a chronic liver disease that was depressing me .... this little dog I was given brings me so much joy . She acted as if she was mine from the very beginning . She made it clear to every one that I was her new human and she is a new human owner now . She takes me for walks every day . When she hears my alarm ring every morning at 7 am when I take a fist full of meds to keep me alive she runs into the living room to get the leash and her little dog coat . So now I am walking three times a day with her. .... in spite of my condition the walks have been good for me and I have been doing it faithfully for the last few months . This little dog is our family member now and we love her so much.

I remember my mom and I walking out of the grocery store and seeing a bulletin for Collie puppies. My mom tore off the number attached at the bottom, called all her brothers and sisters before calling the breeder. They all pitched in and bought one for my grandfather for Christmas. I remember my dad wrapping her up in his jacket (that he was wearing that day) and walking into my grandfather’s house, bending over and all you saw was her little head sticking out from the top of the jacket. My grandfather was told my grandmom when she was gone, he was gonna get the dog he always wanted. When she was alive, she always had her cocker spaniels and wouldn’t let him to get the dog he wanted. My grandmom sadly passed away from cancer and not long after that, her dog, Cindy, had to be put to sleep from old age and being sick as well. I remember all three days like it was nothing. Two heartbreaking days and a happy day. He had Christmas Holly from the time she was a puppy to just a few years ago when she had to be put to sleep.

I got Flash, my Beagle, when I was 5, I was over the moon too. He only got a year or so with me, maybe two, as we moved and he got sick, but you never forget your first. Every other dog was 99.99999% the same for me. I'm 41, 42 on Monday, and I still remember them all, and miss them all. Once I finish my house, if I ever do, I'm adopting an older dog that needs a forever home.

My family got one almost 30 years ago... Best dog ever. But that first night my sister and I were ordered to leave him alone to sleep in the kitchen to harden him up and also to make sure we followers instruction... Somewhere around midnight the puppy wouldn't stop crying because he missed his mother, father, and brothers and sisters... Woke up to this find my stone cold hard assed father sleeping on the ground, with his head half in the card board box the puppy had been given as part of a little kennel we had made for the puppy for that night. Mugsy imprinted hard that my father was his new mother. Even though my parents got the pug under my suggestion as a dog for my sister I, that dog was forever after my father's dog.

Me too. We got my mom a toy pomeranian for christmas one year. It was the best gift. She was so happy, and so was the dog..lol. They were inseparable until she (the dog) died of old age at 16. Maybe it was because of the time we got her, but she loved sleeping under the christmas tree each year. She was always excited for this time of year. She managed to get away with a brief hospital visit but they turned on each other a couple days later and one killed the other. The surviving one was so badly injured he had to be put down. I won't adopt pit bulls again.

my brother had this cute puppy i always took care of it every time my brother brought her over my other dog had died then my brother asked me a question he asked me if i wanted his dog and i said yes she got older she is my very best buddy i cried so hard when she came to my house i hugged her and gave her lots of kisses
