Viewers (and the algorithm) like constantly new content. Tutorials have been less popular since every technique has a host of old, perfectly good videos on each one. Makeup transformations/demos like Pompberry's and Minsooky's used to be popular, but now reviews or blended content (like murder mysteries + GRWMs) are most popular. But I have always liked this style of transformation/ tutorial best. I am very grateful that Pomp is still doing them, her work is unmatched on the platform.

This was SUCH a cool fucking concept! I love art nouveau and I feel like it gets a little less love when compared to art deco (maybe it's just the people I hang out with) so seeing it incorporated into a freaking makeup look was so satisfying. OMFG, this LEWK!!! I think I can safely say this is in my TOP THREE looks of yours - STUNNING!! These colors and tones just emphasize your goddess status, you are so talented and lovely!! And what a gorgeous mask, I love how you are taking masking up to the NEXT level, Pompberry! I'm sorry to hear about your eye issues, I wear lenses myself daily and any sort of particle scratching is torture! I still prefer contacts over glasses though, I can't handle glasses... my eyes are so bad that my glasses give me a headache and do the fish-eye lens effect. Wearing them makes me sick and I don't mind contacts at all, even if something gets in my eye. But a scratch that's bad enough for medicine, yikes! Good juju sent for that! I am curious though how you use knuckles to remove your lenses, I can't even imagine! Also... GIB me all da ART, bring it! Ooooh cornea scratches are rough!!! I’ve only done it once, in the early 80s, when hard contact lenses were the only kind widely available (but still through an optician). The night in question I was wearing a full face of early 80s darksider (we didn’t call it goth back then) makeup to see Missing Persons. I was lucky enough to meet the great Terry Bozzio afterward too, so it was a super fun night. The next morning, I awoke to find both my eyes cemented shut by extreme eye irritation ooze. Luckily my Mom hasn’t left for work yet, and she brought me a warm damp washcloth, and we saw the doctor almost immediately...where he told me that I scratched my corneas. As I recall, he scolded me intensely for combining hard lenses with so much makeup! So eye ointment as you described....and I was done with makeup (other than the fewer than 5 times I was done up for stage) for over 30 years! So I know it’s rough!!!💙💙💙

Please tell me how the waterline pencil works with your contacts. I tried it once and it got an oily substance all over my lenses. My eye doc also told me NEVER do that!! Amazing creativity. Love all your videos I have see so far.

I use both contacts and pencil in my waterline in all my makeup looks. I’ve never had an oily substance over my lenses, that doesn’t sound normal. Maybe your pencil is expired? And thank you!

Do you happen to know what material the face mask is made of? I'm not seeing anything on the website and if it's polyester that's the least effective against the virus so I just wanted to make sure. Thank you and OMG I LOVE THIS LOOK!!!!! I hope you'll keep doing this series. We need to normallize wearing a mask so even after there's a vaccine we can take precaution from getting sick in the first place or spreading it to others, even if it's a cold.

I didn't know that polyester was so ineffective! I know the majority of mask manufacturers I've seen are using cotton or at least lining the inside with a cotton blend, although I'm sure there's plenty of homemade masks floating around made with polyesters. I had no idea 🤔😕

I heard that polyester is a good outer layer in a 3 layer mask as it's non absorbent, so the two cotton inner layers are keeping your particles in and the outer layer is keeping other people's out.
